Organizational Validation
The process for Organizational Validation (or fully validated) requires the purchase of an SSL certificate. Once the order is received, GoeTrust will review and process it in 1-2 business days. There is a manual review of the certificate request that includes verifying that the company on the order is registered to do business (either Dun and Brad Street or Doing Business As) and that they have rights to the domain. This is done to protect the identity of the requesting Company from malicous use of their name. If validation cannot be completed through this method, additional documentation could be required to verify the organization.
